Due to Shopify limitations, third-party apps can’t add extra charges to the Checkout as separate lines (similar to Taxes or Shipping charges).
To overcome this limitation, the app generates a custom product that will represent a fee at the Checkout.
The product will have a title that corresponds to the fee main title. You can also upload an image for the fee product to make it look more attractive:
After a product is generated, it will be added to your product list as a custom product under the “mws_fee_generated” type. Please make sure this product is always active.
If a fee has several values, each value will be added as a product variant within the main custom product:
